Eileen Honnor was born in South Africa and is a well-travelled storyteller. Having lived in England and, with the love of her life, best friend, soulmate, and husband Max, in America and Australia, she now calls New Zealand home. With a lifetime of storytelling experience across various genres, she brings her tales to life in her own voice, creating enchanting audiobooks for children.

Eileen was born into a family of story lovers. Her Dad read stories he had loved as a child to Eileen and her older sister, Val. Val was the first to make up stories, and Eileen followed suit by making up her own. And so it began.

Eileen’s younger sister, Diane, was fascinated by Eileen’s stories, would listen with rapt attention, and would excitedly insist on getting another and yet another!

Now in later life, Diane, who still loves Eileen’s stories, encouraged her to share them with a new generation of children, and so the seed for recording her stories was sown.
